This hotel is in a beautiful location, surrounded by nature and close to public transportation. It has a unique charm, being a converted old winery. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was clean and well-appointed, with thoughtful amenities like ironing facilities and a mini-bar. The outdoor dining area was a delightful spot to enjoy breakfast, which had a variety of delicious options. The swimming pool was a great feature, perfect for relaxing during the warm afternoons. this place exceeded my expectations and provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Wonderful hosts, friendly and full of good advice on things to see in the area, restaurants to eat at etc. Serge - Eric was on vacation when we were in Biarritz but the ice cream was delicious!
The bathroom was not very private. It was separated from the bed only by a half wall.

Liked the location.
The standard of refurbishment to the property is poor with unacceptably high levels of noise transference in the bedroom annexe with poor quality consideration to the partition walls and flooring which sloped uncomfortably and sqeuaked horribly. Our room at 100 euros a night was stuffy and dark with no wall or door to the wc. We didnt have a decent night's sleep and booked for seven nights. When we approached Serge regarding another room, we were dismissed, "what do you expect" it's an old winery building. Presentation was highly personalised "African". Breakfast was basic, We had to sit together at one table. It felt relentlessly intrusive. Hosts hovering nervously. Tea/coffee, juice, bread, jam and croissants "every-day". It never varied. No cheeses! or meats!.

The old winery hotel is located in the suburb and close to the bus stops. the covered area outdoors has picnic tables and a swimming pool, while the breakfast has fresh smoothies, pastries, and homemade jams. the bed is really comfortable.
Some guests complained about the noisy floors outside the rooms, which may disturb you.

My daughter, my granson and I stayed at the Domaine de Marseillen from 13/03/2011 to 15/03/2011 and we wished it was much longer. The first thing that strikes you when you arrive at the Domaine is the building itself, It is a very creative blend of old and new such as stone walls with big light-filled windows and suits of armour with modern conveniences such as Wifi. We loved our room, the Cathar, as it was big enough to give all generations their own space. Our hosts Serge and Muryel were charming and went out of their way to find us the perfect restaurant on a Monday night in low season, Not only are they wonderful hosts but Muryel grew up in the area and is extremely helpful in planning excursions in the region I can hardly wait until I can return with my husband.

Located just outside the town, this guesthouse was a perfect base for our city break. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We loved the quirky decor and the ample breakfast offerings.
While the guesthouse was very clean and tidy, the bathroom lacked privacy with only a thin barrier between it and the bedroom. transportation to the town center required a car or taxi, which added extra costs to our trip.

Serge and his wife were very accommodating. Our room was large and had access to the back yard. Breakfast was wonderful and everything was very comfortable. It's a bit outside of Carcassone, so you will definitely need a car, but was very quiet and comfortable.
Beautiful house with well-appointed rooms. No TV, but we did not need one.

This hotel is an absolute gem! The converted old winery is beautifully decorated with antique furniture and stunning paintings. The location is perfect, situated in a covered area outdoors, close to the bus stops and not far from the city center. The staff is very friendly and served the most delicious breakfast with lots of local produce. I really appreciated the cleanliness and hotel facilities, including parking and transportation options.
All was perfect.

Hotel is very nice, in the suburb of Carcassonne, not far away from la cite, however to get there u need a car. Interior was very nice, the house is very cozy and it is more as a house, than hotel. We noticed that it has a french spirit. It was our first trip together so we wanted something special, something very ¨french¨ and we are very happy about our choise. An owner is very nice person, served us a tasty, fresh, natural breakfast and if one day we will come back, will be glad to stay there once again.
The bathroom could be isolated.

This is a beautifully furnished and comfortable chambre d'hote and a very peaceful situation. The proprietors are wonderfully helpful and friendly. Each morning they provided delicious and plentiful breakfasts. There was a choice of patios for relaxing on, but we did not try the open air pool because it was October. Most people would require a hire car but we travelled around on foot, bus and bicycle. The thing we liked best was the convivial hospitality of Muryel and Serge who run the Domaine.
